Worked great at first had the product for 9 months then it just started freezing. I am now in the process of getting another but they want me to go buy a new GE product with my money and mail them the receipt for reimbursement 6-8 weeks later I might call them back and see if there is anything else they can do. I don't really have the funds right now to purchase a new one and wait for reimbursement

This is the second exact portable GE AC unit I've purchased. The first one stopped working after being barely used. I couldn't find my receipt soon enough so I purchased another of the exact model and it looks like it might be malfunctioning as well. Not very happy.

We actually got this on clearance along with a couple others that we purchased at full price when our AC went out in the dest. We returned all of them except for this one. It's got great power, sure it's a bit loud but what gigantic air conditioner isn't? Point is, I guess the job done well

Our GE Air Conditioner/Dehumidifier was the best purchase we made for our home. Easy to install, it quietly cooled our livingroom and diningroom area. My family was comfy cozy on sweltering summer days! When my sister dropped by our home to visit, she was so impressed with our air-conditioner/dehumidifier that she too purchased one! Put in garage , easy installation , ( took 15 min ) which includes unpacking. Works nice , keeps garage cool , digital thermostat is accurate.. Garage is one car but it is twice as deep.

I have approximately 160 sq. Ft shop and it gets really hot during warm weather . Set up was easy and the AC does a great job keeping it cool. I don't even have to run at full scale to do so. Power was barely noticeable increase. I highly recommend it for a shop this size.

The unit cooled down our bedroom in no time. It's heavy to carry up stairs, but it's on wheels so easy to move around. Hooking it up to the window wasn't too complicated, but I had to use some socks and take in addition to the foam they provided. We've since taken it down (we have a new A/C for our home), and though some of the foam isn't reusable, much of it is.

We purchased this to tide us over until we could get our home AC unit repaired. The system provided constant cooling of our large master bedroom so we could sleep at night during hot summer weather. Even our dogs were delighted to have a cool place to sleep at night. The unit worked exceptionally well and without issue. Quick set up for the window vent, and little hardware to deal with. Well worth the price.

I bought this when our power went out for two weeks after Hurricane Ida. We were on power from a generator too small to run the central air. We used this in the bedroom so we could at least be comfortable sleeping. It cooled a large bedroom and master bath in no time when it was 90 degrees outside. Easy to set up and simple to use. Being on rollers with adjustable vents made it easy to direct the air flow. I'd recommend it and would buy it again.

This product has saved my life. I live in a trailer which has many sized windows & you can put ii anywhere. It has the works, even a remote. I have COPD & having it has definitely helped my breathing. Frankly I don't think anyone would not want to own this portable air conditioner

During hurricane IDA, we purchased this to run off of our generator. It really cooled our living room area off- then at night we used it in the bedroom and actually woke up freezing cold each morning. Really worth the money.

We installed the new air conditioner recently and so far it is working well. I wished it were a little bit easier to move it (portable) than its description provided. It would be better to have another window AC plate included in the box so one didn't have to move the window AC plate every time one moved the AC.

We bought this unit when our AC went out and it took almost a week to find someone to fix or replace it. My daughter was working 12 hour shifts and her room was 87to 89 degrees at night. This unit made her room comfortable so she could get a good nights sleep. She did say that it would get warm before it came back on again, so we gave it 4 stars instead of 5

My HVAC needed repair n found it to be such a difficult task for many reasons. I purchased the GE unit which saved me from some miserable nights. The only difficulty was keeping the exhaust hose to the unit n window secured. Slit movment the hose would disconnect.
